iTrader.im Acceptable Use Policy

Effective on launch

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the rules governing acceptable use of iTrader.im and applies to Dealers, Private Sellers, prospective buyers and visitors who interact with the Platform. iTrader.im is operated by Code Lab Platforms Limited, company number 139244C.

2. General requirements

You must use iTrader lawfully, honestly, responsibly and for legitimate vehicle marketplace purposes. You must not use it in a manner that could damage the Platform, its users, reputation or security.

3. Vehicle advertising requirements

Every Listing must relate to a genuine vehicle, accurately identify it, contain accurate material information and mileage, use representative photographs, identify material damage or relevant history where applicable, state relevant category information including any Category N or Category S status, be submitted by an owner or authorised person, and comply with applicable law. Vehicle Check results and dealer reviews must not be used to mislead buyers.

4. Prohibited vehicle Listings

4.1 Written-off vehicles must not be advertised, except as set out in clause 4.2.

4.2 Category N and Category S vehicles are the permitted exception to the general written-off-vehicle prohibition, and may be advertised only where the relevant category is clearly and prominently disclosed in the Listing.

4.3 A Listing must relate to one vehicle only. Multiple vehicles in one Listing are prohibited.

4.4 Stolen or unlawfully obtained vehicles, or vehicles advertised without the owner's authority, are prohibited.

4.5 Knowingly false, altered or misleading mileage is prohibited.

4.6 You must not deliberately omit material information or make misleading claims concerning condition, ownership, mileage, service or accident history, specification, modifications, mechanical condition, legal status or availability.

5. Prohibited content

You must not upload or publish pornography, nudity, sexually explicit or excessively offensive material, hateful or discriminatory content, threats or abuse, content promoting unlawful activity, malicious software, fraudulent documents, impersonation material, content infringing intellectual-property rights, or personal information that is unnecessary for a Listing, review, dealer response or dispute.

6. Prohibited goods and services

Unless expressly approved by iTrader, the Platform must not be used to advertise vehicle parts, number plates, prohibited or unlawful goods or services, stolen property, or goods or services outside categories permitted by iTrader. Written-off vehicles are prohibited except for the Category N and Category S exception in clause 4.2, where the relevant category must be clearly and prominently disclosed. Permitted categories may evolve as the Platform develops.

7. Dealer conduct

Dealers must provide genuine business information, advertise vehicles genuinely available, maintain accurate prices and specifications, mark sold vehicles promptly, comply with applicable consumer protection law and not use Private Seller accounts to disguise commercial trading. Dealer responses to reviews, review disputes and supporting evidence must be relevant, factual and professional. They must not expose unnecessary personal information, pressure or threaten a reviewer, manipulate ratings, or misuse the dispute process.

8. Private seller conduct

Private sellers must genuinely be acting privately, have authority to advertise each vehicle, provide accurate information and mileage, use legitimate photographs, disclose relevant Category N/S status and mark sold vehicles promptly.

9. Fraud and scams

You must not use iTrader to defraud another person, obtain money dishonestly, impersonate another person, create fake Listings or identities, manipulate prices deceptively, submit false payment information, conduct advance-fee scams, distribute fraudulent documents, direct users to malicious websites or facilitate fraud.

10. Contact and communications

Contact facilities must not be used to harass, abuse, threaten or spam another person; send unrelated unsolicited commercial communications; distribute malware or malicious links; or unlawfully obtain sensitive information.

11. Platform security

You must not gain or attempt unauthorised access, interfere with infrastructure, introduce malicious code, probe systems without permission, circumvent security controls, access another user's account, scrape or systematically harvest data without permission, reverse engineer except where legally permitted, or interfere with Platform availability.

12. Account misuse

You must not impersonate users, create accounts using false information, create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, circumvent suspension, use another person's account without permission, or share credentials in a way that creates a security risk.

13. Intellectual property

You may upload only material you have the right to use, including photographs, logos, descriptions, videos and trademarks. You must not upload another person's protected material without appropriate permission.

14. Enforcement

iTrader may reject a Listing, request information, remove photographs, require corrections, unpublish, suspend or remove Listings, suspend or terminate accounts, restrict access, prevent future Listings, cancel Featured status or report suspected unlawful activity to relevant authorities.

15. No refund for breaches

Where iTrader removes, suspends or terminates a Listing or account because of breach of this AUP, the user will not normally be entitled to a refund. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Discretion

Determining whether content or conduct complies with this AUP is at iTrader's discretion. Previous tolerance of content or conduct does not prevent future enforcement.

17. Changes to this Policy

The AUP may be updated as the Platform develops or legal, technical or operational requirements change. The latest published version applies from its stated effective date.
