COOKIE POLICY

iTrader.im - Online Vehicle Marketplace Effective 3 October 2026

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how Code Lab Platforms Limited, trading as iTrader.im ("we", "us" or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on the iTrader.im platform (the "Platform"), and the choices available to you in relation to them.

1.2 This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1.3 Strictly necessary cookies are used to provide the Service you request. Non-essential cookies, including analytics, are used only if you give consent through our cookie banner or preference centre. Continuing to use the Platform is not treated as consent to non-essential cookies. You may accept, reject, or change non-essential preferences at any time as set out in clause 5.

2. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

2.1 Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of a website.

2.2 Cookies may be "session cookies", which are deleted automatically when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies", which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

2.3 We also use similar technologies, including local storage, which we refer to collectively as "cookies" for the purposes of this policy unless the context requires otherwise. Marketing scripts stay unloaded until you opt in and the deployment has an advertising destination switched on.

3. HOW WE USE COOKIES

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include authentication and session cookies, payment and security cookies, the cookie-preference cookie itself, and the on-demand anonymous dealer-review anti-abuse device cookie. Without these cookies, core features such as your Account session, Listing creation, checkout, and abuse prevention would not work properly. These cookies do not require your consent, as they are necessary to provide the Service you have requested.

3.2 Functional browser storage. Vehicle Check stores a versioned acknowledgement in your browser's local storage after you acknowledge the current Vehicle Check Terms. The stored record contains only the policy version and acknowledgement time. It does not contain a registration mark or Vehicle Check result, is not sent as an acceptance receipt to our server, and is replaced by a fresh acknowledgement when the Vehicle Check policy version changes.

3.3 Analytics and performance cookies. These cookies collect information about how you use the Platform, such as which pages you visit and how long you spend on them, so that we can understand and improve the performance of the Platform. Google Analytics 4 may set first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> after you consent to analytics. Information collected by these cookies is generally aggregated and used on a statistical basis.

3.4 Advertising and marketing cookies. These are optional and off by default. If you opt in, and only on a deployment where advertising measurement is configured, the Platform may load Meta and Google measurement scripts. An earlier analytics-only choice does not allow marketing. Withdrawing marketing consent stops unsent marketing events and removes the first-party campaign cookie. Campaign parameters are limited to an allowlist of source, medium, campaign, content, term and supported click identifiers, are kept for up to 90 days, and are not used to authorise a payment or set a payment amount.

3.5 Analytics and marketing are separate choices in the cookie banner. Analytics currently means Google Analytics 4, which is loaded only on the production Platform after you consent to analytics. An analytics-only choice does not allow marketing measurement. The Vehicle Check local-storage record in clause 3.2 is created only when you actively acknowledge the Vehicle Check Terms in that feature and can be removed through your browser storage controls. This policy describes the controls in the product. It is not a legal sign-off, and live advertising activation still needs owner review.

4. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

4.1 Some cookies on the Platform may be placed by third parties that support the Service. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you consent to analytics and only on the production Platform. Meta and Google advertising measurement scripts are loaded only after you separately consent to marketing and only when that deployment's advertising destination is switched on. Our Payment Provider, Ripple, may set cookies that are necessary to complete a payment you request.

4.2 These third parties are responsible for their own cookies and privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy and cookie policies for further information.

4.3 We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites or services linked from the Platform.

5. MANAGING YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES

5.1 When you first visit the Platform, or after this policy version changes, you will be presented with a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies and to choose analytics and marketing separately.

5.2 You can change your cookie preferences at any time by accessing the cookie preference centre, typically available via a link in the footer of the Platform.

5.3 You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including by blocking or deleting cookies. Please note that if you disable cookies, some parts of the Platform, including strictly necessary features such as logging in or completing a purchase, may not function correctly.

5.4 Guidance on managing cookies in commonly used browsers can typically be found in the help section of your browser, or via the browser provider's support website.

6. CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY

6.1 We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Where we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by updating the cookie banner or posting a notice on the Platform.

6.2 The "last updated" date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it was last revised.
